POSITION SUMMARY:
The Social Media Executive for Corinthia Brussels will manage the social channel presence of the hotel and outlets such as spa and restaurants across key channels including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. The role is focused on developing quality content, whether through User Generated Content or creators, to bring the exciting re-opening story to life. The Social Media Executive will be responsible for publishing, paid campaigns and engaging with our online community.
Be part of the opening team for this exciting project in Brussels, working for Brussels’ most fabulous address, including a luxury hotel but so much more; from a 1000sqm spa, gastronomic restaurant and brasserie, to a members club and retail concept space. This role will have the unique opportunity to work across all the outlets during a truly exciting pre-opening phase.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop content calendar for hotel and outlets (spa, restaurants) considering English, French and Dutch content for international and local markets
- Schedule and publish content across social networks using publishing tool
- Develop on-brand templates using design software for various social channels
- Manage and engage with the Corinthia Brussels community with the correct tone of voice
- Source relevant UGC and collate weekly content for publishing
- Work closely with PR Executive and PR agency to develop influencer and creator partnerships for content development & community growth
- Develop and run paid social campaigns for the hotel and various outlets of Corinthia Brussels using Meta Ads Manager
- Work closely with PR Executive and Events team to bring to life Corinthia Moments through social media to showcase all the happenings within the hotel and outlets
- Develop content for the hotel and outlets, engaging with the hotel team to consider relevant and innovative ideas for social content
- Engage with hotel team to bring a social-first culture where everyone can help identify potential stories to share across social channels
- Supports employees to activate their personal LinkedIn networks to spread awareness of Corinthia Brussels
- Actively look for opportunities to Surprise & Delight guests through monitoring of social mentions
- Monitor trends and competitor analysis
- Monthly reporting and KPI tracking
Profil
TALENT PROFILE
Experience:
- 2-3 years in a similar community management role
- Experience running social channels in English language
- B2C experience in hospitality, retail or similar a plus
- Luxury and lifestyle experience preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience using social publishing tools such as Sprout Social
- Knowledge of Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager
- Knowledge of InDesign or Photoshop a plus
- Understanding of social formats by channel and the difference between the various platforms
- Experience running paid social campaigns with a focus on Meta
- A keen eye for content creation, particularly video
- Creative copywriting skills with an understanding that details matter
Education or Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications or similar field
Requirements:
- Fluency in written English, French, Dutch
