Two Years of Tasting Menus from a Family Kitchen

For two years, Posener developed Otaku’s 18-course tasting menu from his parents’ kitchen in North London.

His professional career began after training at Gareth Ward’s two-Michelin-starred Ynyshir in Wales, followed by experience at London restaurant Cycene, which holds one Michelin star.

He now aims to take Otaku into its next stage with a permanent restaurant.

Exclusive Experiences for Backers

The Kickstarter campaign offers a range of rewards, from a £25 founder’s plaque to higher-value experiences.

These include a private five-course dinner cooked by Posener at a backer’s home for up to 10 guests for £5,000, and private restaurant hire for 16 guests for £7,500.

The campaign marks the transition of Otaku from a home-based supper club into a permanent restaurant concept.
