Ralph Lauren Introduces "Ask Ralph," a New AI-Powered Conversational Shopping Experience

In a move that redefines the luxury shopping experience, Ralph Lauren has unveiled "Ask Ralph," a new AI-powered conversational shopping tool. Developed in partnership with Microsoft and its Azure OpenAI platform, this innovative feature invites consumers to engage with the brand's iconic take on style in a new, immersive way.
This new tool provides personalized styling inspiration, creating multiple shoppable visual laydowns of complete outfits from the Men's and Women's Polo Ralph Lauren brand. "Ask Ralph" is now rolling out to users of the Ralph Lauren app in the United States.

A Digital Stylist at Your Fingertips

"Ask Ralph" uses advanced conversational AI and natural language processing to understand open-ended prompts, similar to how a person would talk to a stylist in a Ralph Lauren store. Users can ask a wide range of questions, from "What should I wear to a concert?" to "How can I style my navy-blue men's blazer?". The tool responds with complete Polo Ralph Lauren looks and styling tips. Users can then refine the recommendations and easily add individual items or the entire head-to-toe look to their shopping cart.

A Legacy of Innovation

"Twenty-five years ago, we partnered with Microsoft to launch one of the fashion industry's first e-commerce platforms, and today, we are once again redefining the shopping experience for the next generation," said David Lauren, Chief Branding and Innovation Officer, Ralph Lauren Corporation.
This new feature is the latest milestone in Ralph Lauren's history of innovation and its commitment to creating cinematic retail experiences. The brand has a long-standing tradition of experimenting with cutting-edge ideas, including virtual shopping technology, holograms, and CGI animations. The company also continues to invest in AI and other technologies to enhance the consumer experience, from personalized marketing to predictive inventory management.
"Ask Ralph" is now available on Apple and Android devices for Ralph Lauren app users in the U.S.
