Scheduled for inauguration by the close of 2026, the project is a collaborative effort with Ecopark Corporation, a visionary Vietnamese real estate developer renowned for its array of luxury hotels and successful ventures in the country's real estate landscape, encompassing residences, educational institutions, retail hubs, and more.

René Nijhof, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Kempinski Hotels S.A., expressed his pride in the company's inaugural foray into Vietnam. He remarked, "Inspired by the breathtaking cultural and natural vistas of southern Vietnam, Kengo Kuma & Associates have redefined waterfront living. Together with Ecopark Corporation, we are reshaping the notion of riverside luxury for a new generation of travelers who seek authentic, immersive experiences."

Evoking the tranquil ambiance of Vietnam's lush paddy fields and riverside abodes, Kempinski Saigon River presents a contemporary interpretation of traditional Vietnamese architecture. The hotel's 90 guestrooms, starting from 65 sq m, offer sweeping views of the river, complemented by 10 lavish suites, including a magnificent Presidential Suite, catering to the most discerning clientele.

Guests will awaken to the soothing melodies of the river, providing an idyllic backdrop for waterfront events and weddings hosted at the hotel's elegant venues. Landscaping by the renowned Bangkok-based firm PLA will seamlessly integrate with the river's contours, featuring bridges, ponds, and manicured gardens, fostering a harmonious connection with nature.

The 1,500-sq-m Resense Spa promises a rejuvenating retreat, where local ingredients and remedies are woven into immersive wellness experiences. Culinary aficionados can indulge in an array of local delicacies at the hotel's dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a signature Vietnamese eatery, a riverside bar, and an Executive Lounge.

Located in Dong Nai on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, Kempinski Saigon River is part of a sprawling 55-hectare development, featuring residences, educational facilities, recreational amenities, and retail outlets along 700 meters of riverfront. The enclave is seamlessly connected to Ho Chi Minh City via a swift 45-minute speedboat ride.

Trung T. Luong, Vice Chairman of the owning company, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "As Europe's oldest hotel company and a globally respected luxury hospitality brand, we are thrilled to collaborate with Kempinski in shaping a new paradigm of luxury living for future generations of residents and visitors."

Dong Nai is currently undergoing significant infrastructure enhancements aimed at fostering economic growth and reducing travel times. This includes improvements to road and rail networks, enhancements to waterways, and the development of the expansive Long Thanh International Airport, poised to become one of the world's largest upon completion, with a capacity to serve up to 100 million passengers annually.
