The store’s interior is thoughtfully designed, featuring a selection of unique furniture pieces. These include custom-felt-upholstered Berin Club chairs, Utrecht and Steltman chairs by renowned designer Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, and Conoid Cushion chairs made of American black walnut by George Nakashima.
CASA LOEWE Seoul Cheongdam is distinguished by its striking bright green ceramic façade and an expansive sculptural installation. Conceived by LOEWE’s creative director Jonathan Anderson, the store embodies a harmonious blend of fashion, art, craftsmanship, and designer furniture, evoking the atmosphere of an art collector’s residence. The ceramic tiles, handmade in Spain, add a vibrant splash of color, interacting seamlessly with the urban surroundings and nearby greenery.
Inside the store, the ceramic tiles continue in shades of blue, brown, and green, paired with cool materials like concrete, oak, brass, and marble. The generous use of glass ensures ample natural light, creating a fluid connection between the exterior and interior spaces.
The store also showcases a carefully curated selection of artworks and crafts from LOEWE’s collection. Highlights include the bamboo sculpture *Source of Creation (2024)* by Japanese artist Tanabe Chikuunsai IV, representing the dynamic synergy between fashion and art. Additionally, pieces by LOEWE Foundation Craft Prize winners Eriko Inazaki and Dahye Jeong are on display, celebrating both intricacy and innovation alongside traditional craftsmanship.
