With the franchising model at its core and in collaboration with Delonix Group, the five new agreements include a Grand House property in Shaoxing, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Wenzhou (Grand New Century Hotel), a Tribute Portfolio Resort in Shangrao Sanqingshan (Wonderland Resort), a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Jiangyin (Grand House), and a Tribute Portfolio Resort in Changxing (Grand New Century Resort). These hotels are slated for openings between 2025 and 2026.
Additionally, the partnership celebrates the successful opening of two hotels from the initial three signed in May 2024 — Grand New Century Hotel, Hangzhou Boao, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, and Wonderland Resort, Hangzhou Jiande, a Tribute Portfolio Resort. These openings mark the realization of distinct and independent hotel experiences, characterized by captivating designs and vibrant atmospheres for guests.

Marriott International and Delonix Group entered into a long-term partnership in January 2024. Through this agreement, the two companies are focused on expanding Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio brand across Mainland China. The partnership envisions at least 100 Tribute Portfolio properties in the coming years.
Growing Tribute Portfolio’s Footprint in Mainland China with Five New Signings
The new agreements will introduce Tribute Portfolio to five scenic destinations: Shaoxing, Wenzhou, Shangrao, Jiangyin, and Changxing. The Grand House hotel in Shaoxing will be located near Kuaiji Mountain, one of the cradles of ancient Chinese culture, offering guests stunning views of the Dayu Mausoleum Scenic Area and the Yuling River. The 152-room hotel combines contemporary design with traditional elements. The Grand New Century Hotel in Wenzhou, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is centrally located, providing easy access to attractions like the Wenzhou Museum, Wenzhou Grand Theater, and the city’s main shopping areas. This property offers 346 rooms with minimalist yet sophisticated designs and panoramic views of the city. Wonderland Resort, Shangrao Sanqingshan, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, will be located near the UNESCO World Heritage site of Sanqingshan, providing 248 rooms with magnificent mountain views. The Grand House in Jiangyin, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, situated in Mazhen Town, the birthplace of renowned Chinese explorer Xu Xiake, will feature 182 rooms and is ideally positioned for exploring the region’s scenic water towns. It is a 30-minute drive from the Jiangyin and Wuxi high-speed railway stations.
Lastly, Grand New Century Resort, Changxing, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, is located on the shores of Taihu Lake in Changxing, Huzhou, and offers 154 rooms inspired by the picturesque water towns of the Jiangnan region. This resort promises a tranquil experience amidst lake and mountain vistas.
Tribute Portfolio’s Debut in Hangzhou: Independent Hotels with Unique Charm Grand New Century Hotel, Hangzhou Boao, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is nestled in Xiaoshan District, surrounded by the serene Xiang Lake. Inspired by water’s fluidity, the hotel exudes a refined yet invigorating ambiance. The 299-room property features elegant, understated interiors, with an art installation titled “Impression of Xiang Lake” displayed in the lobby.
Wonderland Resort, Hangzhou Jiande, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, is located in the scenic Qililong area between the Fuchun and Xin’an Rivers. The resort's design integrates the natural landscape, creating a striking aesthetic that immerses guests in the beauty of the Fuchun River. The property offers 203 rooms, including lakeside cabins and villa-style lodges, providing a peaceful getaway.
Both hotels are now available for booking through Marriott International and Delonix Group’s channels. Marriott Bonvoy and Betterwood, the companies’ respective loyalty programs, offer exclusive benefits for members.
