A maiden voyage in the Mediterranean
The wait is over for one of the most anticipated launches in luxury travel. In June 2026, Orient Express Corinthian, the world's largest sailing yacht, will take to the open sea, tracing a course through the French and Italian Rivieras, jewels of the Mediterranean and Adriatic seas. From May to October, the ship will journey around the Mediterranean and the Adriatic, before crossing the Atlantic to spend the fall and winter in the Caribbean.
An engineering feat
Beyond its size, the vessel embodies a vision of more sustainable luxury sailing. At 220 meters (722 feet) long, it's an engineering feat, and with three towering masts and 1,500 square meters (16,145 square feet) of rigid sails, the yacht is impossible to miss. She is the first cruise ship to be equipped with a SolidSail propulsion system, with masts that can be rotated a full 360 degrees to maximize the wind, thereby reducing fuel consumption and increasing efficiency.
Ultra-exclusive hospitality at sea
True to the Orient Express name, the experience is built on intimacy and bespoke service. The yacht will feature a total of 54 suites, accommodating up to 110 guests, described as a floating sanctuary of refinement. The Corinthian completes the brand's trifecta of nostalgic hospitality experiences, alongside La Minerva hotel in Rome and La Dolce Vita train, and reflects the wave of hotel giants competing for yacht-style hospitality at sea, from Ritz-Carlton to Four Seasons.
