Peruvian Cocktail Bar Honored with Michter's Art of Hospitality Award

In a celebration of creativity, culture, and exceptional service, Lady Bee in Lima, Peru, has been named the winner of the Michter's Art of Hospitality Award as part of The World's 50 Best Bars 2025. This prestigious accolade recognizes the bar that has provided the most exceptional hospitality experience over the past 18 months, as voted by more than 800 anonymous industry experts from The World's 50 Best Bars Academy. The award will be presented at a live ceremony in Hong Kong on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

Created in 2021 by bartenders Alejandra León and Alonso Palomino, along with chef Gabriela León, the bar crafts each drink and dish using the finest native ingredients sourced from the Amazon, the Andes, and the Pacific. Emma Sleight, Head of Content for The World's 50 Best Bars, praised Lady Bee's rapid rise, noting its previous recognition as Campari One To Watch in 2023 and its climb to No. 16 in 2024. Sleight stated that the recognition is a "testament to the team's passion and dedication". Matt Magliocco, Executive Vice President for Michter's Distillery, added that the award highlights "how highly their peers value their welcoming atmosphere and Peruvian ingredient-based creative approach".
