Palus was brought on board to establish the foundations for Gucci’s next chapter and to recruit key talent, including his eventual successor.

Francesca Bellettini expressed her appreciation: “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Jean-François for his dedication and loyalty to Gucci during this transitional period. I am confident that, building on what has been established over the past 15 months, Stefano and the Gucci team will achieve the mission of restoring Gucci to the leadership position it deserves.”

François-Henri Pinault, Chairman and CEO of Kering, acknowledged Palus's contributions: “I sincerely thank Jean-François for his accomplishments at Gucci since summer 2023. During a particularly challenging time, he made bold decisions that the House needed and built a solid foundation for a renewed Gucci to thrive under Stefano's leadership.
