Velaa Private Island has partnered with luxury fashion group Kering to launch a limited collection of jewellery on the island, starting with Swiss watchmaker Ulysse Bardin and Italian fine jeweller Pomellato.
Velaa Private Island, one of the most exclusive private island resorts in the world, is taking luxury to new heights with an exciting partnership with world-class luxury group Kering through exclusive pieces from Ulysse Nardin and Pomellato.
From March 2021, the private island will feature a collection of Pomellato jewellery as well as a curated selection of Ulysse Nardin watches on the property. As a part of the watch collection, 3 limited-edition Ulysse Nardin Diver’s watches will exclusively hold the Velaa Private Island co-ordinates and logo, and will only be available for purchase on the island.
Ulysse Nardin, known for its unconventional designs and 175 years of innovations within the Swiss watchmaking industry, will feature a timeless collection of watches for both men and women along with three unique pieces from the Freak, Executive and Marine collections.
Following the tradition of the Marine collection, the Marine Mega Yacht is an exclusive 44mm solid platinum Haute Horlogerie wristwatch, with a blue grand feu enamel dial and a flying tourbillon. It carries a semi-abstract representation of the bow of a yacht and elegant mechanics featuring a play on movement. Built in the same spirit as a luxury mega yacht and celebrating the world of sailboats, this timepiece is an exceptional creation and among one of the most exclusive pieces in the entire Ulysse Nardin collection globally.
