Accommodation Manager (W/M)

Offer description

• Lead daily briefings, task allocation, productivity, and room turnaround.
• Liaise closely with Guest Relations, Front Office, and F&B to deliver seamless guest service.
• Oversee guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas and laundry operations.
• Conduct daily room inspections in line with Forbes and Ashford Castle standards.
• Manage maintenance reporting and follow-up to ensure timely resolution.
• Lead, train and develop Room Attendants, Linen Porters, Supervisors and Trainees.
• Support performance reviews, appraisals, cross-training and performance management.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, labour planning, workforce management and succession planning.
• Manage rosters, attendance and productivity using Alkimii.
• Control stock levels for linen, guest supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and chemical safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, service quality and guest experience.
• Analyse daily reports and room status trends to identify issues and implement proactive solutions.
• Promote wellbeing initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive team culture.
