Offer description

We are seeking a professional and service-driven In-Room Dining Waiter to provide quality service to our guests, in line with the Forbes Five Star standards and The Red Carnation Hotels standards. This position reports directly to the In Room Dining Manager.

Key Responsibilities of an In-Room Dining Waiter:

  • Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly, courteously, and in line with hotel standards.
  • Accurately take in-room dining orders, ensuring any guest preferences or allergies are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
  • Present and set up trays or trolleys in guest rooms to a high standard, ensuring a polished, elegant service.
  • Respond to guest requests efficiently and professionally, anticipating their needs whenever possible.
  • Collect trays and trolleys from rooms in a timely manner, maintaining discretion and cleanliness in corridors.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel service standards at all times.

Profile

What are we looking for?

  • A passion for hospitality and delivering discreet, high-end service.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on presentation and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining a key part of the team.
  • Previous experience in room service or a similar position in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
