L'HOTEL DU COLLECTIONNEUR ARC DE TRIOMPHE PARIS Represented worldwide by PREFERRED HOTELS & RESORTS. This name was created by the greatest French artist and designer of the 1930s, Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann, on the occasion of the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts, which spread the Art Deco movement throughout the world. Ruhlmann gave this name to the most beautiful pavilion of the exhibition, which he created for an imaginary collector, with his aesthetic ideal. Our luxury establishment, decorated by the famous decorators Jacques Garcia and Alexandre Danan, was inspired by the most prestigious Art Deco artists to recreate the elegance of the great transatlantic liners and the charm and refinement of the 1930s. The monumental staircase leading to the main reception room is inspired by the "grand descent" of the famous liners Normandie and Ile de France. Original furniture and works of art, acquired at auctions around the world, are on display at the hotel, where every corner offers new discoveries by artists such as Ruhlmann, Armand-Albert Rateau, Edgar Brant, Süe et Mare and Erté. The Hotel du Collectionneur with its 478 rooms and suites is located in the Golden Triangle of Paris, opposite the famous Parc Monceau, a few minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysées and the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. With 19 meeting rooms, the hotel has one of the largest conference centres in Paris: 1700 m² of meeting space that can accommodate up to 800 people.
