As the summer season draws to a close on the heights of Megève, on the Mont d'Arbois estate Edmond de Rothschild Heritage, Four Seasons Megève Collection and Groupe Pic announce a partnership with a view to writing a new page in the history of the restaurant Le 1920.

Following a meeting between Ariane de Rothschild and Anne-Sophie Pic, both of whom are keenly alive to the authenticity and striking scenery of this mountain village, a collaboration was an obvious choice.

The bond with nature, the desire to pass on local flavours, the attention paid to those who make nature's products possible and to the customers who enjoy them are shared values that form the bedrock of this long-term project.

In the wake of Paris, London and Singapore, with a new Dame de Pic, the three Michelin star chef will be offering a new culinary experience in the heart of Four Seasons Hotel Megève as soon as the Hotel reopens on 18 December 18, 2020.

"I have great admiration for female chefs who manage to make a name for themselves and fully express their culinary identity in a very demanding environment. Looking to the development of the Mont d'Arbois, this collaboration with Anne-Sophie Pic seemed a natural one. I am particularly happy to welcome her to the beautiful setting of Le 1920," says Ariane de Rothschild.

At the same time, Julien Gatillon, the two Michelin star chef who previously headed Le 1920 kitchen, has left the group to fully focus on a personal project. Ariane and Benjamin de Rothschild, the Domaine du Mont d'Arbois teams and Edmond de Rothschild Heritage staff would like to warmly thank the Chef for his commitment over the past eight years. They are particularly proud of their journey together and wish him every success for the future.
