Bentley has revealed development plans for the first Bentley-branded luxury residential tower, Bentley Residences. Property developer Dezer Development will partner with the luxury automaker to design and build the tower, working with architectural firm Sieger Suarez Architects.
Bentley Residences, located on Miami’s Sunny Isles Beach coastline, will contain more than 200 luxury apartments. The building will be 749 feet high with over 60 stories, making it the tallest residential tower on any U.S. beachfront.
The development is focused on luxury living in a sustainable environment. Bentley Residences is being designed in accordance with the Florida Green Building Council (FLGC) certification and other environmental regulations to protect the local environment and minimise the impact of the development on local wildlife. Environmentally safe building materials will be used and reduced coastal lighting implemented to protect endangered sea turtles. The building will be engineered to reduce energy consumption.
The Bentley Design Department has been involved in the development of the building. The core of the building will feature the patented car elevator and each residence will include an in-unit multi-car garage. Bentley Residences will offer ocean and bayside views in every apartment as the building has a cylindrical form and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The development is scheduled for completion in 2026. Construction is anticipated to begin in early 2023.
