Axel Arigato Unveils Its New Dubai Flagship

Axel Arigato strengthens its Middle East presence with the opening of its new store at Mall of the Emirates, Dubai. Designed by Creative Director Jens Werner and the in-house team, this Middle East-exclusive concept blends the brand’s signature refined yet playful aesthetic with inspirations drawn from the region’s landscapes and culture. A second store in Abu Dhabi is planned for early 2026.

Sculptural, Immersive Architecture
 
At the heart of the store, a striking “bubble” installation flows from the ceiling to the entrance wall, creating a dreamlike space of unexpected texture and rhythm. The ceiling itself becomes an architectural statement, integrating lighting and speakers to deliver a fully immersive sensory experience.
 
Nature and Desert-Inspired Design
 
The store draws inspiration from organic lines and earthy desert tones, with Axel Arigato’s signature yellow running throughout the space. This bold hue transforms the in-store experience, echoing the joy of unboxing the brand’s iconic shoeboxes and creating an immersive, playful environment.
 
Art Meets Merchandising: The Mannequin Sculpture
 
For the first time, the Dubai store features a mannequin sculpture created in collaboration with long-time creative partner Jon Buck. Cast from a human mold, the piece transcends its role as a display, becoming a sculptural work of art that reflects Axel Arigato’s approach to merging form, function, and unexpected playfulness.
 
Footwear, Fashion, and Experiential Retail
 
Footwear is presented on smooth, organically shaped podiums in a gallery-like setting, highlighting key models such as Clean 90, Area, and Dice, along with new silhouettes like Eris and Daze Runner. Seasonal ready-to-wear and accessories complete the offering, ensuring a fully immersive shopping experience.

Strategic Middle East Expansion
 
The Dubai opening coincides with the launch of axelarigato.ae, the brand’s localized website for a seamless online shopping experience in the region. This expansion is powered in partnership with the Chalhoub Group, a leading luxury retailer and distributor, which will also support the Abu Dhabi launch.
