Bottega Veneta backs the Peggy Guggenheim exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts

A gallery reborn

Founded by Peggy Guggenheim in 1938 just a stone's throw from the Royal Academy, her gallery Guggenheim Jeune presented over 20 exhibitions of abstract and surrealist art before closing in June 1939. The show brings together significant works from that original programme.

A pattern of cultural patronage

The partnership continues Bottega Veneta's collaborations with leading cultural institutions worldwide, including Punta della Dogana, the Leeum Museum of Art in Seoul, the Bangkok Kunsthalle, and the Pier Luigi Nervi Foundation in Venice.

Culture as brand territory

By aligning itself with a figure who reshaped twentieth-century art patronage, the maison reinforces an identity built on craftsmanship and cultural depth, joining the growing trend of luxury houses positioning themselves as patrons rather than mere sponsors.
