Cartier on Via Montenapoleone in Milan has reopened

Entirely renovated following many months of work, Milan’s emblematic boutique is ready to unveil its new look. From a Franco-Italian partnership of Parisian architect Bruno Moinard with his Haute-Couture approach, and Milanese Stefano Boeri, an urban planner, theorist and advocate for organic architecture, their work drew together nuances of elegance and nature.

The originality of the boutique also relies on the importance given to artisanal crafts, with many craftspeople invited to contribute mosaics, panels, straw marquetry, glasswork, gold leaf, lacquer and metal - their works come together, echoing with the Cartier universe.

The decoration can be admired in detail from the ground floor to the new second floor space, an area dedicated to private and cultural events. Dinners, masterclasses and themed evenings, this residence — designed by Stefano Boeri to resemble a clearing among expressive trees — is a living laboratory in the heart of the town: a space for meetings and exchanges, a community space shared by Cartier.
