Spaces Designed for the Client Experience
Both boutiques translate Vhernier's visual identity into a physical experience, through an architectural concept designed by Matteo Fraticelli of New York-based FROM Architecture. While sharing a common language, the two locations each carry their own atmosphere. The Shanghai boutique, more intimate in scale, conveys a contemporary and dynamic energy. The Beijing boutique, spanning 130 square metres, offers a more residential and refined experience, centred around a VIP room dedicated to bespoke appointments, adorned with jewellery sketches and Chinotto armchairs by Milanese designer Luigi Caccia Dominioni.
Iconic Collections Take Centre Stage
Both spaces showcase a curated selection of the Maison's creations, with a prominent focus on two iconic collections: Abbraccio, with its fluid mirror-shine gold forms, and Calla, defined by bold yet essential volumes. They also introduce the new Ardis high jewellery collection, alongside Freccia and Palloncino, crafted using Vhernier's signature Trasparenze technique, through which the Maison infuses colour into its sculptural forms.
A Long-Term Expansion Strategy
These openings follow the recent inauguration of a boutique in Hong Kong, which was very well received locally. For CEO Gianluca Brozzetti, Shanghai and Beijing represent "a natural step" in Vhernier's growth journey, with the ambition of developing a meaningful and lasting presence in the region. Head of Design Isabella Traglio highlights the local clientele's innate appreciation for elegance and craftsmanship: "We are very excited to share our vision of contemporary jewellery with them, in their home country."
Part of the Richemont group since 2024, Vhernier now counts 20 mono-brand boutiques across the world's leading luxury destinations, from Milan to New York, Dubai and Geneva.
