The collaboration between La Dolce Vita Orient Express and Vinitaly pledges to annually select six wine masterpieces showcased at the expo, representing Northern, Central, and Southern Italy. These carefully chosen selections will eventually grace the train's prestigious wine list.

In conjunction with Vinitaly’s 56th edition, Beck & Maltese Consulting, in conjunction with La Dolce Vita Orient Express, announces that acclaimed three Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck will helm the cuisine aboard the ‘Made in Italy’ rail journeys.

Commencing with its inaugural voyages scheduled for spring 2025, passengers aboard La Dolce Vita Orient Express will indulge in the selected labels and a curated menu by Chef Heinz Beck. With aspirations for its cuisine to be recognized as part of UNESCO heritage, the train will offer regional and themed routes, celebrating the culinary diversity of each region traversed.

The culinary and wine experiences showcased at Vinitaly seamlessly align with the luxury hospitality concept upheld by Arsenale. It aims to cultivate partnerships with local Italian artisans and highlight the authentic symbols of Italian excellence, from carriage production and onboard product selection to interior design, reinforcing the ethos that has defined La Dolce Vita Orient Express from its inception.

Paolo Barletta, CEO of Arsenale SpA, remarks, “By creating an industrial model capable of enhancing national and international tourism offerings through the systematic promotion of the globally renowned Italian brand, Made In Italy, we prioritize high-profile excellence and quality in every experience onboard and beyond. Special thanks to Chef Heinz Beck, whose artistry guarantees guests of La Dolce Vita Orient Express an experience that is truly unforgettable, and to Vinitaly for providing us with the platform to showcase not only the most prominent labels but also the lesser-known wineries synonymous with the quality and uniqueness typical of our incredible country.”

Veronafiere President Federico Bricolo adds, “Through this partnership, we offer our exhibitors at Vinitaly a new high-profile business opportunity catering to a high-spending segment, supplementing the promotional initiatives already on the calendar throughout the year in Italy and abroad in support of Made in Italy wine.”

La Dolce Vita Orient Express, with the backing of Trenitalia-Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato, Fondazione Fs, and Treni Turistici Italiani, caters to travelers seeking a unique experience dedicated entirely to Made In Italy.

With its iconic journeys allowing passengers to explore the richness of Italian regions, the train will cover over 16,000 km, including 7,000 km of non-electrified railway, promoting the beauty of slow travel and sustainable tourism. The agreement between Arsenale and Vinitaly is founded on shared values aimed at promoting the region, preserving Italian traditions, and celebrating the excellence of ‘Made in Italy’, a unique heritage recognized worldwide.
