Louis Vuitton Unveils 2025 Cruise Collection in Barcelona's Iconic Park Güell

In a spectacular showcase of fashion and architecture, Louis Vuitton presented its 2025 Cruise collection at the historic Park Güell in Barcelona. This event marked the first time the iconic park, designed by Antoni Gaudí and completed in 1914, hosted a fashion show. The collection, crafted by Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière, offers a fresh interpretation of Louis Vuitton’s renowned travel style, enriched with Spanish influences.

Set designer James Chinlund transformed the Hypostyle Room of Park Güell into a captivating runway. The unique seating arrangement mirrored the collection's volumes, harmonizing with the venue's curved space. The fusion of Spanish flamboyance and Ghesquière's forward-thinking vision was evident throughout the show. Traditional Andalusian sombreros cordobés were given a modern twist with a lacquered finish, while futuristic, sporty sunglasses complemented iridescent low boots, echoing the colorful mosaics of Gaudí's masterpiece. The collection's palette of black and luminous white created a striking chiaroscuro effect.

The Cruise collection redefined feminine allure with its sophisticated tailoring and luxurious embroidered robes. Graphic motifs, voluminous draping, and bold Amazonian-inspired models wearing riding boots and sculptural earrings highlighted the collection's dynamic aesthetic. The belted waists and flowing garments invited a sense of casual elegance, perfectly capturing the spirit of the times.

Louis Vuitton's choice of Barcelona and Park Güell underscored the brand's commitment to blending tradition with innovation, creating a multi-faceted travel style that continues to inspire.
