After three years of construction, Maison Ruinart is set to reveal in October 2024 the transformation of its emblematic site, 4 RUE DES CRAYÈRES in Reims. This address stands as the cultural heart of the world’s oldest Champagne House.
Located in a region celebrated for its winemaking expertise, Maison Ruinart promotes a space for dialogue and discovery. Whether through wine, art, or gastronomy, each experience highlights a blend of centuries-old traditions, combining nature with culture, pleasure with expertise. Inspiration is ever-present, fostering enriching conversations.

For generations, 4 RUE DES CRAYÈRES has welcomed visitors, shaped by the evolving influences from the Champagne region and beyond. This unique site in Reims encapsulates the creativity, savoir-faire, and cultural heritage of the Maison, harmoniously intertwined with nature.

Bringing this transformation to life, Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, interior designer Gwenaël Nicolas, and landscape artist Christophe Gautrand collaborated to reflect the vision of Nicolas Ruinart, the founder of the first Champagne House almost 300 years ago. Today, a contemporary pavilion made from stone and glass stands opposite the historic buildings. Surrounded by a sculpture garden open to the public, this new space invites visitors to explore a biodiversity haven while immersing themselves in the sensorial and inspiring universe of Champagne.

4 RUE DES CRAYÈRES is more than an address; it is a gathering place for artisans, artists, chefs, and guests to share unforgettable moments. These connections offer a chance to rediscover oneself, the world, and those around us, creating experiences that bridge the past and present.
By balancing respect for heritage with a forward-looking approach, the transformed site reflects Maison Ruinart’s commitment to preserving tradition while embracing modernity. This harmonious blend defines the future of this historic Champagne destination.
