The Barcelona EDITION’s underground nightlife venue announced its relaunch as a sophisticated late-night micro-club called Cabaret. Having reopened last month, Cabaret lies beneath the iconic hotel to offer a modern and exclusive nightlife experience on Fridays and Saturdays.

Cabaret features live bands, DJ line-ups, dramatic lighting and projections and a state-of-the-art sound system for the ultimate experience. The venue’s low lighting and opulent materials set the mood, and a dramatic cocktail bar gracing one end of the space allows guests to enjoy the sultry atmosphere. In addition to a lounge area with a low ceiling and black velvet walls, Cabaret boasts a dance floor, providing guests with many options while enjoying their night out.

With a newly conceived cocktail menu complementing Cabaret’s reopening, guests can enjoy cocktails inspired from famous European cabarets, 1970s Barcelona and the iconic Barcelona discothèque Bocaccio. Some of the elevated drinks include Studio 54, a gin-based concoction with cava, hibiscus syrup and lemon juice, and Bocaccio, a cocktail served with mezcal, amaro Montenegro, blackberry sage cordial and lime juice.

The venue hosts an array of both local and international artists, including the occasional DJ on vinyl. The line-up includes Dimitri from Paris, Gigi McFarlane Live!, Dam Swindle and Adria Marth. On Fridays, Cabaret presents EDITION’s signature night, in which a lively band and DJ sets create a space of disco, funk and house beats.

On Saturdays, Cabaret showcases a variety of Cabaret Presents events with appearances from D.R.O.P., Reel to Reel, BreatheDeep and Mainline for an electronic music-filled night. Cabaret is open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.
