Chloé Appoints Chemena Kamali as Creative Director

Chloé has officially welcomed Chemena Kamali as its Creative Director. Born in Germany in 1981, Kamali pursued her Master of Arts in Fashion at Central Saint Martin’s University of the Arts in London, graduating with distinction in 2007. With over two decades of experience, including a prior stint with Chloé as part of Phoebe Philo’s team and later as Design Director under Clare Waight Keller in 2013, Kamali's appointment marks a meaningful return for both her and the Maison.

Riccardo Bellini, President & CEO of Chloé, expressed his pride in Kamali's appointment, noting her extraordinary creative talent, extensive experience, and unique connection with the brand's legacy. Kamali, deeply inspired by her love for the brand, aims to celebrate Chloé's unique DNA in her role as Creative Director.

Kamali's first pre-collection for Chloé is set to debut in Paris in January 2024, with her Fall-Winter 2024 collection following during Paris Fashion Week in February 2024. Her return to Chloé is viewed as an exciting new chapter for the Maison, given her passion for the brand's heritage and her strong connection to it.
