Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita has once again been awarded a Forbes Travel Guide Five Star rating in 2022, with the announcement marking the third consecutive year for the property to achieve the prestigious recognition thanks to a commitment to service excellence.

Located on the east coast of the island, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is home to 136 pool villas, all with outdoor terraces for al fresco dining or relaxation in the surrounds of a private topical garden. Following a restaurant and bar renovation in mid-2021 and the addition of a new restaurant concept, the Resort reopened its doors in October 2021 with creative dining variety now served up across a choice of five restaurants, including a fully refurbished and extended Bambou Beach Restaurant, a new seafood-inspired Asian menu in Umi.Zaka and the addition of a brand new bar Blu’Zil.

“I am incredibly proud to see this recognition for our Resort, thanks to the remarkable efforts of our Four Seasons team,” says Sebastien Carre, Regional Vice President and General Manager. “After the interruption to travel over the past couple of years, we see now that there is a stronger desire than ever for people to travel, and when they do, they are looking for every moment away to be filled with experiences to treasure in an environment where they feel a genuine connection to our employees and the destination.”

Further to the variety of recently enhanced dining offerings, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita provides endless recreational activities, from its exclusive beach on the nearby island of Ile aux Cerfs to complimentary golf on two championship courses, tailored wellness programs and signature rituals at the overwater Spa and an abundance of fitness activities and water sports for all ages to enjoy.

“Travel has come back strongly, and the resilient hospitality industry is creatively rallying to accommodate the increased occupancy demand for most regions,” says Hermann Elger, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide. “While the industry faces some lingering issues, the 2022 award winners proved ready for those challenges and more, demonstrating the best that luxury hospitality has to offer.”

This year, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts was recognised with 68 Five Star awards across its hotels, resorts, restaurants and spas – the most collectively held by any company. For a full list of Four Seasons properties recognized by the Forbes Travel Guide awards click here.
