The collection is a culmination of nearly two years of dedicated work, blending the heritage of both brands. According to Simon Wolf, CEO of WOLF 1834, this collaboration is not just about protecting jewelry; it's "about storytelling through timeless sustainable design." The collection features two of Liberty’s most cherished patterns. The iconic 'Ianthe' design, inspired by Art Nouveau, has been carefully engineered and embossed onto sustainable leather, giving the pieces a unique tactile quality. The interior of the jewelry boxes features the 1930s-inspired floral print 'Julia,' adding a quintessential Liberty feel while creating a beautiful color palette against a solid pink lining. This marks the first time WOLF has printed such a detailed pattern onto their Ultrasuede lining.
A Commitment to Sustainable Craftsmanship
A core focus of the collection was the use of sustainable and bio-based materials for the exterior. This presented a challenge, as the traditional embossing technique for the 'Ianthe' pattern had to be adapted for a new material. The teams from WOLF and Liberty meticulously designed the placement of the pattern to ensure it flowed gracefully across each piece. "Together we have created a collection which honours the heritage of both brands and introduces WOLF’s patented innovations and our focus on using more and more bio-based materials," stated Simon Wolf.
