Reporting to the Managing Director, the Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations across both Food & Beverage and Rooms, ensuring a seamless guest experience that embodies Bvlgari’s signature service—informal yet impeccable. This role requires a dynamic leader who will be responsible for maintaining the Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards, optimizing business performance, and continuously elevating service standards.

Additionally, the Director of Operations will act as the primary decision-maker in the absence of the Managing Director, ensuring continuity of leadership and strategic execution. As an ambassador of the Bvlgari values, the ideal candidate will embody excellence, innovation, and a commitment to impeccable service.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the operations team to ensure exceptional execution of business strategies.
  • Oversee Food & Beverage and Rooms operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to LQA standards, implementing best practices to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Serve as the acting Managing Director in their absence, making key decisions to uphold operational and service excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with company objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across departments to ensure seamless coordination and timely execution of projects.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Profil

  • A forward-thinking leader with extensive experience in both F&B and Rooms operations, who thrives in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

  • A strong communicator and team leader, capable of building relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and operational excellence.
  • A results-driven individual with the ability to balance business objectives with Bvlgari’s legacy of informal yet impeccable service.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within luxury hospitality.
  • Proven experience in both Food & Beverage and Rooms operations.
  • Strong understanding of LQA standards and their implementation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a commitment to excellence.

The sleek architecture and refined interiors are designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners, with Squire and Partners as the local architect, coupling the Bvlgari glamour and heritage with sustainable design features and state of the art technology. Many of the furnishings and textiles throughout the hotel and residences are made exclusively for Bvlgari crafted by Italian manufacturers.
