The Sales Manager (Benelux) for Corinthia Brussels will be responsible for promoting Corinthia Brussels within the local market, Luxembourg and The Netherlands. This role will develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the related markets to drive revenue and achieve sales targets, while building and maintaining client relationships and attending trade shows, FAM trips as necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the local and key feeder markets (Luxembourg & The Netherlands) for Corinthia Brussels to drive revenue and achieve sales targets
· Provide guidance in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding the customer base within the related markets
· Accountable for the hotel’s promotion toward the related markets in order to achieve room night and revenue targets
· Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders with a focus on long-term, value-based relationships
· Drive and coordinate sales activity to develop & maintain new accounts within the related markets
· Works closely with regional Sales teams
· Where required attends customer events and trade shows to maintain, build or develop key accounts
· Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on quality, service and overall satisfaction
· Assists in organizing familiarisation trips for Corinthia Brussels for related markets
· Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure compelling and on-brand sales presentations, proposals, and promotional materials
· Stay up to date and report on market trends within the related markets and feed back to key stakeholders to capitalize on potential revenue-generating opportunities
· Responsible for maintaining the client database in the Customer Relationship Management platform
· Drive direct sales and reservations, and preferred partner programs
Experience:
· 2+ years in Sales Manager position
· Deep understanding of the luxury hotel sector and customer preferences required
· Strong understanding of leisure and MICE sales
· An advanced knowledge of designated markets with existing client relationships in these territories
Skills & Knowledge:
· Strong sales skills and experience in nurturing client relationships, driving sales initiatives, and expanding the customer base in the luxury hotel sector
· Action orientated with a drive for results
· A people person and effective communicator
Education or Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing or similar field
Requirements:
· Fluent in English, Dutch & French. Other European languages a plus.
· Ability to travel as required
