We are currently looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at our Cullens at the Cottage Restaurant at our Forbes Five Star property.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Restaurant Manager will include:
• To support the Restaurant Manager in ensuring efficient, friendly and professional service within the outlets, ensuring that they meet the required Forbes/Red Carnation Hotel Standards.
• To monitor daily operations within the outlets.
• To manage the F&B service in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, taking ownership of the operation to ensure that all guests receive an efficient, friendly and professional service at all times
• To work positively towards ensuring that both hotel and departmental goals and objectives are achieved successfully
• Have significant previous experience in a similar F&B function
• Possess a strong knowledge and passion for Food & Beverage
• Have good ability to manage all cost controls e.g. food cost, labour etc.
• Have experience of staff training, rotas, financial reporting, stock control and ordering
• Have excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Possess excellent organisational skills
• Have good ability to handle pressurised situations and busy periods
• Be Flexible, innovative and adaptable
• Be fluent in both written and spoken English
