As a Commis Waiter at Corinthia Brussels, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant the ”La Paix". Working closely with our experienced waitstaff, you will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop the skills necessary for a successful career in hospitality.
With Chef David Martin leading this project, we need passionate professionals to create an exceptional experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Setting tables with precision, ensuring flawless arrangement of cutlery, napkins, glasses, and centerpieces.
* Maintaining impeccable cleanliness by sanitizing chairs, tabletops, and surrounding areas.
* Monitoring and replenishing essential items like salt and pepper shakers, condiment jars, napkins, and tablecloths.
* Assisting lead waiters in taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and clearing tables efficiently.
* Providing attentive and courteous service to guests, anticipating their needs, and always maintaining professionalism.
* Assisting in closing duties by cleaning around and restocking items for the next service.
* Shadowing Waiters in processing payments accurately and efficiently.

Health & Safety
- To be aware of and comply with safe working practices as stipulated by the Health and Safety Act and as applicable to your place of work. This will include the incumbent’s awareness of any specific hazards at the workplace.
- The wearing of appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Company will be obligatory.
- To report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to hotel procedure.
- To ensure that any accidents to staff, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with correct procedures.
- To attend statutory Fire, Health & Safety training and to be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning:

Situé au cœur du quartier royal de Bruxelles, le Corinthia Brussels est un joyau de l’architecture Belle Époque.
