The Purchasing Officer is responsible for performing tasks related to procurement, aiming to obtain the best purchasing conditions in terms of price/quality, ensuring departments receive the necessary goods and items for their operations, and processing purchase orders.
In this role, you will:
- Product Research and Acquisition: Conduct market research and acquire products according to departmental needs, ensuring the best cost-benefit ratio and meeting established deadlines;
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with new suppliers, maintaining strong and positive business relationships;
- Budgets and Negotiations: Request, compare, and present multiple quotes to ensure transparency and the best choice for the company;
- Order Processing: Use internal systems (ADACO and Filedoc) to process and manage purchase orders;
- Price Management: Update prices in the ADACO system, ensuring the accuracy of information and generating periodic reports on price changes;
- External Purchases and Invoicing: Make external purchases when necessary and ensure proper invoicing of acquisitions from reliable sources;
- Maintenance and Returns: Manage equipment maintenance (e.g., coffee machines) and coordinate returns of non-compliant products;
- Customs Clearance of Orders: Manage the customs clearance process for orders when applicable.
Profil recherché
We expect you to have:
- Equivalent education in procurement, logistics, or management;
- Previous experience in similar roles (preferred);
- Knowledge in supplier management and procurement processes;
- Familiarity with procurement management systems (ADACO and Filedoc) and collaboration tools (Teams, Planner);
- Good communication and negotiation skills;
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities;
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively;
- Availability to work with deadlines and a dynamic workload;
- Good command of the English language;
- A valid driver's license.
