The Area Associate Director of Sales is a key support role within the Hilton French Polynesia commercial team, based at Conrad Bora Bora Nui. Working closely with and reporting to the Area Director of Sales & Marketing, this role assists in implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and supporting the on-property sales teams across Conrad Bora Bora Nui, Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa, and Hilton Hotel Tahiti. This individual will ensure the effective execution of commercial plans and foster strong collaboration across departments and markets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Execution
- Assist the Area DOSM in executing the annual sales strategy for all three Hilton resorts in French Polynesia.
- Support implementation of tactical sales activities and campaigns to drive revenue across all segments.
- Coordinate with the cluster revenue and marketing teams to ensure alignment of efforts.
- Help monitor and report on account performance and market trends.
Account Management & Client Relations
- Maintain and nurture relationships with key partners, including wholesalers, luxury travel advisors, and MICE clients.
- Coordinate familiarization trips, site inspections, and key account visits.
- Act as point of contact for select accounts as designated by the Area DOSM.
Administrative & Coordination Duties
- Assist in preparing presentations, sales reports, and internal reviews.
- Organize regular calls, property visits, and sales meetings across the cluster.
- Support data entry and reporting through systems such as Delphi and Cognos.
Event & Trade Show Support
- Assist in planning and participating in sales missions, tradeshows, and hosted events.
- Support logistical coordination and follow-up for key activations and partner meetings.
- Represent the Hilton French Polynesia properties when delegated by the Area DOSM.

Good to know:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Sales or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales or commercial support roles, ideally within luxury or resort settings.
- Previous experience working in multi-property or remote locations is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English required.
- Familiarity with Hilton systems (Delphi, OnQ, Opera) is preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed and work effectively in a cross-cultural, resort-based environment.
