Internationally renowned and multi-award winning cigar merchant Edward Sahakian’s cigar shop and Sampling Lounge at the Bulgari Hotel London, has established itself as a premier Knightsbridge destination for connoisseurs in search of truly exceptional vintage cigars.
To contribute to the success of famous cigar merchant Edward Sahakian’s cigar shop we are developing our Cigar Shop team with people who demonstrate excellence in their profession, authenticity in their service and integrity in the decisions they make.
We are currently inviting applications for the position of Cigar Sommelier to join our team.
To be successful in this role you will bring a comprehensive cigar and spirits knowledge. You will have a passion for maintaining the highest standards in terms of cigars and service. You will create a genuine and memorable experience for all guests, maximizing sales targets. You will be responsible for assisting the manager to manage the stock control and reporting any maintenance issues in order to take care of the shop, sampling room and storage areas. You will be fully aware of the relevant licensing laws and hotel policies with reference to service of cigars and drinks in the outlet.
You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for guest engagement, immaculate presentation, and impeccable attention to detail.
We encourage a diverse workforce however you will be required to have excellent levels of written and spoken English and be eligible to work in the UK.
The Bvlgari Hotel London, inaugurated in 2012, is a beacon of luxury nestled in the prestigious Knightsbridge district.
