A Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and efficiency of machinery, equipment, and systems within a facility. Their primary duties include performing regular inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing equipment as needed. They also work to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Responding to various general routine maintenance requests from the Upper management and Operations team
• Performing routine self-maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, HVAC, painting, Kitchen equipment, carpentry, cleaning and general handyman tasks
• Performing troubleshooting tasks for various pieces of equipment
• Schedule and supervise the maintenance of all aspects of the building
• Work with operation’s team to handle and maintain health compliance requirements
• Prepare weekly report to be shared with the head of maintenance
• Ensure proper use of the maintenance management application
